Self Employed Plasterers

  • Self Employed Plasterers:

Location: North East of England
Type: Self-employed

What you’ll do

• Skimming, float & set, patching and making-good in occupied homes
• Internal finishing for garage conversions, orangeries and conservatories
• Preparing surfaces, beading and achieving clean, paint-ready finishes
• Minor basic joinery where needed
• Keeping working areas tidy and customer-friendly

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years’ experience
• Strong attention to detail and consistently smooth finishes
• Confident working independently in customers’ homes
• Clear communicator with a professional manner
• Own van/tools, public liability insurance and full UK driving licence

What you’ll do

• Carry out bricklaying and small-scale building work across orangeries, extensions, conservatory bases and other home improvements projects.
• Complete foundations, groundworks, DPC, cavity work and floor construction
• Tie new structures into existing homes with a neat, accurate finish
• Handle minor structural tasks such as lintels, openings and making-good
• Setting out from surveys and working closely with fitting teams
• Maintaining tidy, customer-safe work areas

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years’ experience
• Strong workmanship standards and accuracy
• Good problem-solving skills on site
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude
• Own tools/plant if required, public liability insurance and full UK driving licence

• Install uPVC/aluminium windows and doors to a high standard
• Build and fit conservatories and orangeries
• Install SupaLite roof conversions and complete internal finishes ready for plaster
• Tidy, safe and customer-friendly handovers
• Resolve minor issues on site to avoid return visits

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years’ experience
• Strong finishing skills including trims, sealing and final presentation
• Good communication and customer service
• Own van/tools, public liability insurance and full UK driving licence
