Award-Winning Apprenticeship Programme Continues to Build Careers at Tyneside Home Improvements

At Tyneside Home Improvements, we’re incredibly proud of the people who make our business what it is.

In 2024, we were honoured to be named Tyne & Wear SME Employer of the Year, recognising our commitment to developing people and creating meaningful career opportunities through apprenticeships.

Two years on, we’re delighted to celebrate just how far our award-winning apprenticeship programme has come.

Investing in Local Talent

Since launching our apprenticeship programme in 2022, we’ve remained committed to developing the next generation of skilled professionals across both the construction industry and business support functions.

Today, we’re proud to celebrate the achievements of several apprentices who have successfully completed nationally recognised qualifications.

Congratulations to:

• Becky Willis – Successfully completed her Level 7 Senior People Professional Apprenticeship, achieving Chartered status and helping to strengthen our growing HR function.
• Kane Adams – Successfully completed his Level 2 NVQ in Bricklaying.
• Jake Davis – Successfully completed his Level 2 NVQ in Bricklaying.
• James Usher – Successfully completed his Level 2 NVQ in Joinery.

These achievements represent hundreds of hours of practical learning, study and dedication, and we’re incredibly proud of every one of them.
